Telegram Bot Setup
Blocksight uses Telegram to deliver real-time notifications about RFP opportunities and proposal status updates. This guide covers how to get set up.
How It Works
When you onboard as a market maker, the Blocksight team will create a dedicated Telegram group for your organization. This group serves as your primary channel for:
- RFP Notifications — Get notified when new projects are looking for market makers
- Proposal Updates — Receive status updates on proposals you've submitted
- Support — Quick access to the Blocksight integration team
Getting Started
1. Provide Your Telegram Handle
During onboarding, share the Telegram username(s) of team members who should receive notifications. You can provide multiple handles if you want several team members to have access.
2. Join Your Dedicated Group
Once your account is set up, the Blocksight team will:
- Create a private Telegram group for your organization
- Add the Blocksight notification bot to the group
- Add your team members to the group directly via their handles
3. Start Receiving Notifications
Once you're in the group, you'll automatically start receiving notifications. No additional configuration is required.
Adding Team Members
Since this is a standard Telegram group, you can add additional team members from your organization at any time. You do not need to contact the Blocksight team to manage your group's membership.
Notification Types
| Notification | Description |
|---|---|
| New RFP | A project is seeking market making services |
| Proposal Received | Your proposal was received by a project |
| Proposal Status | Updates when your proposal is awarded or rejected |
